Why the WC?

As a professional woman who has worked in male-dominated industries (Engineering, Construction and Mining) my entire career, I wanted to unite with a group of strong, motivated, women making a difference. Until recently, I’ve never had strong female role models, associates, or coworkers and most of my professional colleagues and mentors are men. I reached a point in my career where I have the experience, knowledge, and ideas to contribute to a women’s leadership group in a meaningful way. I joined the Women’s Collective to connect, collaborate, and grow as an individual female leader and to work as part of a team focused on promoting women in leadership roles.
